A congress and exhibition center is a world-class complex for various events of a different
scale. Over time, the company felt the need to update one of its locations, the function of which was to hold various public events: varying from weddings and birthdays to
corporate events and private club parties.
The congress and exhibition centre "Parkoviy" is located in a picturesque place close to Mariinskiy park. A special atmosphere of this place inspired us to create the space that combines natural environment and modern design solutions.
We saw our aesthetic mission in using the landscape, natural features and historical background of this location, with maximum preservation of existing space solutions and interior decorations.
ТЕРАСА
Picturesque green hills over the Dnipro, large panoramic windows and a terrace created a potential for a combination of two worlds - natural environment and interior. Understanding this, we focused on details and textures that provided us with a smooth transition between these spaces.
Our design of the terrace provides for wooden floors and upholstered furniture in modern style with massive wooden parts.
A variety and expressiveness of the wood texture created an organic connection with the environment, and the massif of the stabilized vertical landscaping continued the expansion of greenery inside the premises.
We added an accented-imperfect concrete texture of the bar counter to the natural atmosphere. Such design added massiveness and solidity to it.
ENTRANCE GROUP
The functional purpose of the room required a certain stylistic versatility and timelessness. Its interior is a background for creating a diverse atmosphere and mood, ranging from business restraint to explosiveness of a festive event.
Keeping this in mind, we were looking for cautious solutions to put a visitor in a festive
atmosphere and at the same time give him the feeling of space and element. One of these solutions was a stylish arched wall, a spectacular object that greets guests first.
The mirrors that increase space are masterfully intertwined with greenery, elements of modern lighting and tiles. A visitor can see himself in the mirrors, a combined space that forms changing context, diverse and flexible.
INSTALLATIONS
To maintain magical natural atmosphere several original installations were designed to become powerful emotional generators.
The facility is located in the rocky area replete with vegetation. So natural stones, absolutely imperfect and heterogeneous with their unique cracks and texture became the main theme of our installations.
Natural energy of these objects was supposed to effect a subconscious mind of the disproportional area they occupy. We managed to achieve such an enhanced effect thanks to its special location and structures. We used a glass floor for this purpose.
The glass floor itself is a good way to decorate the interior and add luxury to it. But for us it
was interesting to use its another important feature.
Stepping on the glass floor, we involuntarily do it carefully, not realizing that we are concentrated on this action. That is why the natural materials we placed under the glass and illuminated additionally, attract the main attention and cause an incredible impact on a visitor’s emotions.
This theme was developed in the decoration of the floor around the columns and in the design of the stage.
We cannot fail to mention special attention we paid to the process of searching out stones and greens for implementation of this concept. Each pebble was carefully selected by the authors of the project to convey energy of the idea without any loss.
VIP HALL
Against the background of the general style, the design of the VIP hall looks quite bold. It is dominated by modern, in some ways even futuristic aesthetics, with creative decorative elements.
And although a natural theme is reminiscence of textures and greenery, in this hall you can feel a contrasting emotional switching over. There is a feeling of transition to the world of separation, sophistication and comfort.
